Wilshire Community Services was created to meet the unmet needs of our community and is staffed by a dedicated team of professionals and volunteers who work to provide people, at all stages of life, with the resources and support they need to manage the challenges and opportunities that arise during the major life transitions associated with aging.
Whether it’s mediation, a friendly visit, transportation to a doctor’s appointment or a counseling session, Wilshire Community Services serves as a dynamic hub connecting resources and community in support of our mission to help people live a better life.
Senior Services
Wilshire Community Services strives to bring dignity and respect to the process of aging by providing opportunities for all older adults in our community in the environment of their choice. The services provided by our staff and volunteers lower stress, strengthen community connections, and improve outlook and mood.
Creative Mediation
Wilshire’s Creative Mediation services will help you navigate that challenge that keeps you from moving forward – whether that’s tension between neighbors or roommates, complex family dynamics or disputes in the workplace. Mediation offers you a chance to talk about what matters most and find out what motivates the other party involved. We offer informal, private services to help you clarify issues, improve your communication, explore various solutions, and in most cases, resolve differences.
